Founder & President, GIRO
Dr. Muhammad Azam, the visionary founder of GIRO, holds dual doctorates—one in Islamic Studies from Al-Iraqia University,
Baghdad, and another in Law from Unissula University, Indonesia. His expertise spans classical Islamic heritage,
modern jurisprudence, Arabic language, and international commercial law.
A prolific author and lecturer, Dr. Azam's global research focuses on harmonizing Shariah with international legal
frameworks and nurturing a new generation of interdisciplinary Islamic scholars.
Specializations: Islamic Jurisprudence, Hadith Sciences, International Commercial Law, Quranic Studies, Comparative Law.
